Grief Recovery Program
Many tools exist to help you cope with your grief. The Grief Recovery Institute offers one path to healing. The Institute was founded by two men, John James and Russell Friedman.
Both John and Russell experienced loss and grief in their lives many times over. John applied the principles that helped him recover from the loss of his infant son and put them into action helping others.
Russell used the grief recovery techniques to heal his deep grief over lost relationships and professional setbacks. He joined John first as a volunteer and then as his partner.

When I learned about the Grief Recovery Program it really resonated with me. My uncle and two aunts had recently passed away. I found myself stuck, thinking about family dynamics created by my grandmother.
The message about grief being commulative really struck home. My unresolved feelings and thoughts about my grandmother came roaring back especially as it related to my uncle.
Completing the Grief Recovery process for my grandmother allowed me to be more at peace not only in my relationship to her but also in relationship to my uncle and aunts.
